Who can refer
Anyone, including past candidates and consultants placed by BesTech.
Who to refer
Developers, engineers, analysts, architects, and technology leaders who are new to BesTech.
What qualifies
- The person is new to BesTech
- BesTech places them with a client
- They stay on assignment through the payment milestones
Reward tiers

How your tier is set
- Based on the placed professional's base hourly pay rate at start, excluding overtime
- Direct hire: base salary ÷ 2,080 (about $104,000 and $156,000 at the tier breaks)
- Contract and contract-to-hire roles need an initial term of 6 months or more for the top two tiers; shorter terms earn the first tier
When you're paid
- First half: after BesTech receives the client's first payment and the placement is still active after 30 days
- Second half: when the placement completes 90 days (or the direct-hire guarantee period, if longer)
- A W-9 is required before your first payment
If a placement ends early
If the placement ends before 90 days, the second payment is not paid, unless the client ends it for reasons unrelated to performance (at BesTech's discretion).
Eligibility
- First to register wins. A referral stays valid for 12 months from registration.
- The person must be new to BesTech (not in our candidate database or active pipeline in the past 12 months).
- Not eligible: BesTech staff and recruiters, self-referrals, and anyone whose employer prohibits referral payments.
- Please let the person know you're referring them.
- Your exact reward is confirmed in writing before the placement starts.
